From early childhood rejection of God to adult salvation followed by an attempt to grow spiritually. This led to becoming a Pharisee then later a discovery of the Biblical Jesus.

One doesn’t need to be a spiritual giant to follow Jesus.  In fact a new believer, a child or even a person with “Down Syndrome” can follow Jesus.

Calling people to make a decision about Jesus may lead to their salvation but it hasn’t produced very many authentic disciples. Maybe we should rethink our evangelistic methods.

In the same way we must not be impatient with our unbelieving family and friends. Until the Spirit of God lifts the scales from a person’s eyes, they are spiritually blind.
