Glenn Murray has influenced my personal life like few others. Many years ago, he and I were sitting outside in chairs facing each other. We were at a men’s retreat in the Colorado Mountains. He knew I was carrying a 12 foot cross around the world, but I did not know he carried small crosses in his pocket to give to others. We had a no holds barred talk about sharing Jesus and following Him. We soon realized that even though we seemed to be living in two different worlds, we were both really seeking to know and follow Jesus and share Him with others. We were both cross-carrying disciples of Jesus. Our crosses were just different sizes. Fellow radicals in modern times. Glenn challenged me and confronted me with insights about Jesus. I came to love Glenn’s way of teaching and imparting the Truth of Jesus. He would make a profound statement and then share how we could live in the light of this revelation. I soaked in every word. His tender words and love bathed in tears have brought refreshment and strength to my heart. What I have seen and learned from Glenn has changed my life. He is one of only a handful of people that has gloriously helped shape me more into the likeness of the Lord Jesus. I challenge you to stay with this book. It will open your eyes. You may be shaken, a bit fearful at times, but then moment by moment, you will be changed to be more like Jesus. Those seeking will find Jesus.
